Arranger
People exceptionally talented in the Arranger theme can organize, but they also have a flexibility that complements this ability. They like to determine how all of the pieces and resources can be arranged for maximum productivity.
How can I build H.O.P.E.?
Hospitality
- You are always looking for the best way to get things done. As such, keep your eyes and ears open to the thoughts and actions of others. Look for insights into people so you can help other people find a connection to Jesus, other disciples, and the church.
- Identify the people and physical resources you have available in your neighborhood to host a community event to bless the people around you.
- Help coordinate the logistics of big events or meetings. Identify the people resources best suited to welcome new people.
- Your ability to remain flexible while your desire to arrange the resources at your disposal could present you with unique opportunities to meet people in random locations. Embrace the opportunity to do so.
Offer Christ
- Utilize your ability to see multiple options to arrange the flow of a program, worship experience, etc. to include opportunities to make faith commitments.
- When you see an opportunity for faith commitments, name it for others. They may not see it.
- Claim the responsibility to lead others to Christ. Your flexibility, combined with a mature faith, can create openings for others to say yes to Jesus.
Practice
- Study and explore the Spirit. Combined with other talents, your Arranger talent may help you respond at a moment’s notice to God’s promptings.
- You may get bored with the same spiritual disciplines. Therefore, try different approaches to faith development.
- Focus on studying transformational moments in Scripture (Noah & covenant; Moses & burning bush; Naomi & a new family; Mary saying “yes”; Jesus from the cross to the empty tomb).
Engage
- Help align service opportunities with the church’s purpose. Focus on relationships as you serve.
- Identify multiple inputs to fund ministry and missions.
- Help plan, implement, and/or participate in service days.
- Coordinate schedules for missions teams in your community. Your ability to mentally juggle multiple things could be fueled by this challenge.
