• Welcome people with your words.
• Listen and speak to reach out to new people and help them connect with the body of Christ.
• If your Communication talent shows up in written words, write notes of appreciation and welcome.

Offer Christ

• Use your verbal skills to create safe spaces for new believers to make faith commitments.
• Share stories of how Jesus is impacting your life and invite others to do the same.
• Your ability to turn ideas into metaphors may help people understand and claim the mystery of faith.
• You have a natural ability to use your words to connect with others in meaningful ways. There may be nothing more meaningful than inviting people into a life with Christ.

Practice

• Your ability to bring words to life will help ideas and scriptural concepts come to life.
• Read stories of Scripture so as to share them.
• Use your skill at studying Scripture (The Word) to summarize what is being learned, to ask questions, and to offer next steps. You’ll likely be able to verbalize how people can embody the Scripture.
• You may be able to verbalize what other people are thinking in Bible Studies.
• Teach others in both formal and informal setting with your clarity and precision of words.
• Keep a journal of your God sightings, articulating how God is moving in your life.

Engage

• How has your life changed because of Jesus? Where can you live and tell this story? Share your faith story with others in verbal or written form.
• Serve as the liaison to a ministry and/or missions that will give you the opportunity to tell their story.
• Share your experiences of serving with others. The opportunity to write or speak to others about serving will give witness to Christ’s work in your life while motivating others to serve.
